World Cooking - Nasi Goreng

Nasi Goreng is an Indonesian dish meaning "fried rice" ...

You can find many versions of nasi goreng in Indo...
Today, in this recipe I give you the base and you can make it your way.

INGREDIENTS (4 people)

Preparation time: 20 minutes / Cooking time: 20 minutes

600 g long grain rice cooked

6 shallots + 4 shallots

3 cloves of garlic

5 gr shrimp paste (belacan or terasi)

(for those who do not eat shrimp, use ½ red pepper, ½ teaspoon MSG - Monosodium Glutamate and 1 tablespoon nuoc man)

3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce

 

1 tablespoon soy sauce salt

1 teaspoon palm sugar

1 onion, cut into small carrrés

150g chicken breast, fried and cut into thin strips

1 small red pepper bird

 

PREPARATION :

Sauté 4 shallots, cut into very thin slices in an oil bath until a little crisp, about 5-6 minutes. reserve

Meanwhile, put the other 6 shallots, garlic, shrimp paste and chilli in a blender.

Heat the cooking oil over medium heat in a wok (if a large pan) and fry the paste thus obtained in a blender for 2 minutes.

Then add the rice, sweet soy sauce, soy sauce and palm sugar.

Sauté quickly over high heat for 6-7 minutes.

 

Add fresh onion and fried chicken.

Mix well and continue to fried it for 2 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

Serve hot, covered in fried shallots and accompanied by slices of tomato, cucumber, scrambled eggs and shrimp chips.
